Travel often times brings with it a limited space for your skin care and regular skin care items you usually would want to bring. Being prepared and only packing the absolute essentials won’t only save you time, but also money and a whole lot of space.
First, start out by getting a few travel bottles. Don’t try to pack the whole regular sized bottle. Chances are slim that you will need the whole thing, and it take up space and when you are traveling space is essential.
Grab something simple and easy to distinguish so you know what product is in what bottle to avoid any mishaps or you can always label the bottles directly yourself.
If you are going to be flying, try to moisturize mid-flight. High altitudes and humidity levels plummet when you fly, so does in your skin with the essential moister, especially on longer flights. Apply some moisturizer while you are flying to help from your skin becoming dry and irritated, and keep it hydrated and evenly radiate upon landing.
Make sure you hydrate your lips. Dry lips are almost inevitable when you travel. During a flight with the low humidity in the air, the moisture can also be taken from your lips. Make sure you bring some chap stick or lip balm to help eliviate that dryness.
When you travel, many times your skin isn’t a big fan. With a combination of factors such as environmental changes, to sleep disruption, to stress from traveling can all lead to breakouts. Try packing a spot treatment in case of emergency. A salicylic acid-based spot treatment can help clear your complexion.
Try packing some hypochlorous acid spray in your bag. This spray is an antibacterial which means it kills bacteria including the kind that can cause acne. It is also an antimicrobial which means it destroys other pathogens like fungi and viruses.
